The Bank Street BIA is lending Santa Claus a helping hand this holiday season.
Every year, the Centretown Emergency Food Centre is heavily relied upon to feed underprivileged families. Demand for their services has increased to 9,000 from 7,000 recipients last year. In order to help satisfy increasing demand for the food centre’s services, the Bank Street BIA will be opening a collection centre, on the corner of Bank Street and James Street. It will be up-and-running from Dec. 18-23.

At the collection centre, monetary or canned food donations can be made. In exchange, the BIA’s elves will wrap any presents you bring in. Gifts purchased from BIA members can also be wrapped with the presentation of a receipt. The giving doesn’t stop there, however. For helping out this worthy cause, you will also be entered into a daily draw for a $100 Bank Street gift card.
Of course, the BIA can’t do this alone. If you have supreme wrapping skills or would like to help take in donations, we’d love to have you on board. Give us a call at 613-232-6255 to tell us when you’d like to come in, or fill out the form below.
Together, we can lessen the load on Santa!
