The Bank Street BIA is seeking a historian/researcher to assemble an historical perspective on the LGBTTQ community of Ottawa with references to champions of the movement locally, nationally and internationally.
The perspective should speak largely to the City-wide movement, activities, milestones, landmarks etc. and the role of Bank Street during these times recognizing that these may have culminated from worldwide activities which should also be incorporated.
We also seek to have the historical references interpreted and/or replicated in a physical manifestation that can be incorporated in the Bank Street BIA streetscape through several mediums including but not limited to photography, plaques, murals, banners, etc.
The total value of the project is $15,000
